Ashtanga is a Yoga style that hails from Mysore, India, a system equally admired for its emphasis on breath control, adaptability to all ages and abilities, and beautifully choreographed movements that can open and align the body and mind.
In this workshop you’ll learn:
- Simple principles to help you confidently develop your practice and understand the relationships between postures.
- Overview of the Ashtanga system as a philosophy with historical context
- Safety considerations and pain-free progressions.
- Practice manual that covers a complete beginner practice.
Includes a two-week unlimited practice pass at the studio where you can immerse yourself in our community, try a variety of instructors and practice Mysore style.
