Welcome to the Evolutionary Path of Yin Yoga. This training program offers a unique blend of Yin Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and healing practices. Whether you’re a yoga teacher looking to expand your knowledge or a student interested in exploring the deeper dimensions of Yin Yoga, this course will provide you with a well-rounded toolkit that covers physical, energetic, and emotional healing. What makes this program special is its integration of Tui Na massage, acupressure, and energy work, all woven into the practice of Yin Yoga. You’ll learn not only how to guide your students through Yin Yoga poses but also how to support their holistic well-being through hands-on healing modalities.
The course includes 4 detailed training handbooks. The course hours are YACEP certified for yoga teachers.
MEET YOUR TEACHER
With over a decade of experience, Imad merges the physical, energetic, and meditative dimensions of yoga. As an E-RYT 300, Reiki practitioner and Tui Na massage practitioner, he blends expertise in Yin Yoga, acupressure, and body mechanics with a strong commitment to mindfulness and nervous system regulation. Through mindful, intentional movement, he empowers students to explore their inner energies, understand the body’s mechanics, and cultivate holistic well-being. His teaching focuses not only on postures but also on creating a balanced and healing experience for each individual.

The program is structured into three distinct modules, each building upon the knowledge gained in the previous one. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect:
Module One: The Heart of Yin Yoga Practice
This module serves as the foundation of your Yin Yoga journey. We’ll explore the philosophy and principles that underlie this gentle, yet profound practice. You’ll learn:
- Yin Yoga Philosophy & Principles: Understand the essence of Yin Yoga, including the concepts of Yin and Yang, and the origins of this practice.
- Anatomy for Yin Yoga: Explore Yin tissues, compression & tension, and the range of motion in a Yin Yoga context.
- Teaching Methodology: Learn how to structure a class, create a safe and nurturing environment, and hold space for your students. You’ll also practice physical adjustments and explore sequencing for inspiration.
- Interactive Engagement: Throughout this module, you’ll participate in discussions, practical exercises, and reflective journaling to help internalize what you’ve learned.
Module Two: Principles of Energy in Yin Yoga
In this module, we delve into the energetic anatomy of the body, looking at the interplay between Yin Yoga and energy healing practices such as Reiki and meditation. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of how energy moves through the body and how to harness it for healing.
Energy Work: Learn about the energetic body, including the three treasures of life (JING, QI, & SHEN) and how these concepts connect with the Yin Yoga practice.
Meridians & Fascia: Discover the relationship between the body’s fascial trains and the meridian systems in TCM.
Practical Healing Techniques: Learn to incorporate pranayama (breath work), meditation, and physical healing touch into your Yin Yoga classes.
Interactive Learning: Partner work, guided energy practices, and hands-on techniques will allow you to actively engage with the material and apply it in real-time.
Module Three: Yin Yoga with Acupressure & Tui Na Massage
The final module is where everything comes together. We integrate Yin Yoga with Tui Na massage and acupressure techniques, offering a comprehensive approach to holistic healing. You’ll be equipped with practical skills that allow you to bring these healing modalities into your Yin Yoga teaching.
- Five Elements & Meridians: Gain a deeper understanding of the energetic pathways in TCM and their connection to Yin Yoga.
- Tui Na & Acupressure: Learn basic massage techniques and acupressure points that complement Yin Yoga practice.
- Holistic Healing: Understand the body’s energy flow throughout the seasons and how to guide your students through healing practices.
- Interactive & Experiential: This module emphasizes hands-on learning. You’ll practice Tui Na and acupressure techniques on fellow students, refining your ability to merge these healing modalities with Yin Yoga.

Module Two: A deep understanding of the body’s energy systems, including meridians, fascia, and the nervous system. You’ll learn how to incorporate energy healing into your Yin Yoga practice. Guide students in exploring the energetic and emotional benefits of Yin Yoga, helping them release tension and cultivate balance.
Module Three: Practical skills in Tui Na massage and acupressure, tailored for Yin Yoga practice. You’ll be able to offer holistic healing experiences in your classes, supporting the physical, emotional, and energetic well-being of your students. Integrate TCM practices like Tui Na massage and acupressure into your Yin Yoga teaching, offering students a well-rounded, healing experience.
